Meet Barb

A native Californian, Barb Gates has lived in Napa for 28 years. Her previous work as a small business entrepreneur widened her perspective and helped her develop a wide skillset that allows her to tackle a variety of challenges.

Her experience includes working as a legal secretary for a real estate lawyer in Vermont for many years, and she was also founder of a successful fitness club designed primarily for women. She later returned home to Napa Valley, where she handled nearly all facets of a bed and breakfast from the books, managing staff and purchasing to creating delicious breakfast buffets and afternoon appetizers for guests and managing the gardens including floral arranging all challenges that honed her organizational and creative skills and attention to detail.

When she isn’t hard at work finding new ways to make operations smoother and systems more efficient, she enjoys a variety of fitness activities and yoga, traveling, cooking and design and helping others.
